Fomento Presentation
The same investment to develop a community is used twice: once as a micro-credit for small companies and once to build a service for the community, such as a school. The goal of the Fomento method is to stimulate the circulation of the exchange unit or money in the community. Fomento does not only benefit the local entrepreneurs, but the community as a whole.
A study by the University of Bahia into the effects of STRO's Fomento project in a poor neighbourhood of Fortaleza, showed that the trade within the neighbourhood increased by 15%.
Tractor Animation
The Tractor Animation aims to explain the Multiplier Effect and the benefits of local spending.
This short branching story allows the user to make some decisions and experience its effects.
Island Animation
The Island Animation explains the impact of different events on the economy of an island.
It is a general introduction to STRO's methodologies and compares it to other initiatives.
